Supporting Missions

Our Mission:

To Teach about Jesus locally and abroad,
and to Prepare one another for service to God’s glory.

Locally:

The congregation believes in helping the local community in different ways.  Livonia Church of Christ holds Red Cross Blood Drives every quarter, every year we collect blankets for the Red Cross at Christmas time.  We have collected hygiene items for woman's shelter, canned food items for soup kitchens both in Detroit and elsewhere in Michigan.  Groups gather from time to time to travel to Detroit area soup kitchens to offer assistance.

We participate in the Unity for Christ events www.unityeventforchrist.com

Abroad:

We support and participate in missions abroad.  Currently we are supporting missions in New Zeeland, Honduras, Africa, Bolivia (South America). The following are links to some of those missions
